Privacy Policy – Killer Sudoku

Effective Date: September 25, 2026

Killer Sudoku is a logic puzzle that combines a classic 9x9 sudoku with cages: each cage adds up to a given total and never repeats a digit inside itself. Killer Sudoku does not collect, store, or share any personal data directly. The game does not require user registration and does not collect personal information such as name, email address, or location.

However, the app uses third-party services that may collect information automatically to provide their services.

Advertising

Killer Sudoku uses third-party advertising services (such as Google AdMob) to display interstitial and rewarded ads. These services may collect certain data automatically, including:

This information is managed directly by the advertising provider and is subject to their respective privacy policies. You can review Google's advertising practices here:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message before any personalised advertising identifier is used. You can reset or delete that advertising identifier at any time from your device's Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Analytics

Killer Sudoku uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as game events and session information, that help us improve the game. This data is associated with a randomly generated identifier and does not include personal information such as name, email address, or precise location.

Google Play Services

The app may use Google Play Services, which may collect data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. For more information, please review:

Local Data

Puzzle progress, best times per difficulty, daily streaks, hint, check and rollback credits, unlocked grid palettes and settings are stored locally on your device, together with a diagnostic log of the current session – device model, screen size and language – that is kept on the device and used to investigate crashes.

Three of those counters travel with the anonymous analytics events described above: how many puzzles you have completed, which difficulty you were playing and your current daily streak. Nothing else leaves your device, and everything listed here is deleted when the app is uninstalled. There is no account, no cloud save and no server: the game works fully offline.

Children's Privacy

Killer Sudoku is not specifically directed at children under 13 years of age. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the Effective Date above will be updated.
