Tower of Hanoi is a classic disc-and-post puzzle, played on three or four posts. Tower of Hanoi does not collect, store, or share any personal data directly. The game does not require user registration and does not collect personal information such as name, email address, or location.

Tower of Hanoi uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as game events and session information, that help us improve the game. This data is associated with a randomly generated identifier and does not include personal information such as name, email address, or precise location.

Game progress, best moves per level, statistics, daily streaks, hint and undo credits, unlocked disc colours and settings are stored locally on your device, together with a diagnostic log of the current session – device model, screen size and language – that is kept on the device and used to investigate crashes.
Three of those counters travel with the anonymous analytics events described above: how many games you have played, how many four-post levels you have cleared and your current daily streak. Nothing else leaves your device, and everything listed here is deleted when the app is uninstalled. There is no account, no cloud save and no server: the game works fully offline.
Tower of Hanoi is not specifically directed at children under 13 years of age. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
